Rest of the Story
So we put the kids in a different school this year, and up till this last month it was great. I really liked their teachers, and principal. They allowed my daughter to stay back in the second grade, like we wanted. We thought this would be the perfect school for our kids, we were so wrong. But is not all the schools fault. We recieved a letter last month, from the school stating to budjet costs, third graders and below will not be having spelling words for the whole year. What dose spelling word have to do with the budjet, I would like to know? I am a horrible speller, and would like my kids to be better then me. I know in reality it problay is not that big of deal. There is also a possibility of combing some classes next year, my kids already have 24 to 27 kids per class. How is a teacher supposed to handle 35 kids. That is not fair to the teachers or the students. Isn't there a law against on how many kids can be in a class? My husband and I have decided maybe the best course of action is just to home school our older two kids and send the youngest to public until he gets older. My older two kids were at the top of their class, when they started this year, and not know are in the middle. I know it sounds like I am being way to over protective, and a bit to bitchy when it comes to their education. But what parent dose not want the best for their kids?
